Main purpose of job: Maintain the upkeep of the home
Complete all maintenance required in the home including the hydrotherapy pool. Carry out all regular checks in liaison with the Home Manager.
Clean and maintain the hydrotherapy pool.
Test, monitor and adjust the solutions for the pool on a daily basis.
Undertake repairs within the home in liaison with the Home Manager notifying the manager if an engineer is required.
Complete weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly and annual checks.
Test the fire alarms on a regular basis recording dates and times.
Undertake a fire evacuation in liaison with the Home Manager and Fire Brigade.
Test all emergency lighting recording dates and times.
Keep all vehicles, owned by the Charity, clean and fuelled.
Check oil, water and tyres on all the vehicles owned by the Charity.
Inform the Home Manager when servicing of equipment or vehicles is required.
Maintain all tools required storing them in a safe place.
Keep the workshop clean and tidy.
Keep all flammable liquids and poisons required for the maintenance of the building in a safe secure place.
Keep guttering around the home and on the roof free of debris.
To respond to call out of hours when required.
